This assignment aims to assess students’ ability to discuss ethics and philosophy in the context of everyday life involving cultural and religious diversity.

Based on the music videos above, you are required to answer the following questions:

a. Identify and discuss TWO philosophical values contained in both songs. Relate these values to the National Principles Philosophy (Rukun Negara) and the National Education Philosophy (FPK) as discussed in the Topic 1 module.

Then, share ONE real-life situation that you have personally experienced at your workplace or within the community that reflects these philosophical values.

b. Based on the messages conveyed in both songs, discuss how the Sejahtera Philosophy (Topic 1 module) can be realized in Malaysia’s multi-racial and multi-religious society.

Then, based on your own experience as a worker, student, or member of society, provide TWO real-life examples that illustrate efforts to realize the Sejahtera Philosophy in your daily life. You must relate both examples to the Sejahtera Philosophy.

c. After understanding the lyrics of both songs and analyzing the situations in questions (a) and (b), share the changes you have felt within yourself regarding the diversity of religions and cultures in Malaysia. Explain whether this experience has changed your feelings, way of thinking, or actions towards individuals of different religions and cultures. Share honestly.

d. Write ONE informal letter (not exceeding 2 pages) to your friend abroad (real or hypothetical) describing the uniqueness of Malaysia from the perspective of the National Principles Philosophy (Rukun Negara) and the Sejahtera Philosophy.

In the letter, include:

• The uniqueness of Malaysia that you are proud of as a citizen.
• ONE personal experience that reflects these philosophical values in your daily life (whether at work, within the community, or while visiting another country, if applicable).
• How these values distinguish Malaysia from other countries.

Berdasarkan video muzik di atas, anda diminta untuk menjawab soalan berikut:

a. Kenal pasti dan bincangkan DUA nilai falsafah yang terkandung dalam kedua-dua lagu tersebut. Kaitkan nilai-nilai tersebut dengan Falsafah Rukun Negara dan Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan (FPK) seperti dalam modul Topik 1.

Kemudian, kongsikan SATU situasi sebenar yang pernah anda alami sendiri di tempat kerja atau dalam komuniti masyarakat yang mencerminkan nilai falsafah tersebut.

b. Berdasarkan mesej kedua-dua lagu tersebut, bincangkan bagaimana Falsafah Sejahtera (modul, Topik 1) boleh direalisasikan dalam masyarakat Malaysia yang berbilang kaum dan agama?

Kemudian, berdasarkan pengalaman anda sendiri sebagai pekerja atau pelajar atau ahli masyarakat, berikan DUA contoh situasi sebenar yang menggambarkan usaha merealisasikan Falsafah Sejahtera dalam kehidupan seharian anda. Anda perlu mengaitkan kedua-dua contoh dengan Falsafah Sejahtera.

c. Selepas memahami lirik kedua-dua lagu dan menganalisis situasi dalam soalan (a) dan (b), kongsikan perubahan yang anda rasai dalam diri anda terhadap kepelbagaian agama dan budaya di Malaysia. Jelaskan sama ada pengalaman ini mengubah perasaan, cara anda berfikir atau bertindak terhadap individu yang berbeza agama dan budaya. Kongsikan dengan jujur.

d. Tulis SATU surat tidak rasmi (tidak melebihi 2 muka surat) kepada rakan anda di luar negara (sebenar atau hipotetikal) menceritakan keunikan Malaysia dari sudut Falsafah Rukun Negara dan Falsafah Sejahtera.

Dalam surat tersebut, sertakan:

• Keunikan Malaysia yang anda banggakan sebagai rakyat
• SATU pengalaman peribadi yang mencerminkan nilai falsafah tersebut dalam kehidupan seharian anda (sama ada di tempat kerja, masyarakat atau semasa melawat negara lain jika ada)
• Bagaimana nilai-nilai tersebut membezakan Malaysia daripada negara lain

Malaysian people positively support Rukun Negara that aims at encouraging unity, respect and loyalty whereas the Sejahtera philosophy positively promotes harmony, compassion and mutual understanding. These specific values make Malaysia special, and I hope you also visit Malaysia one day to experience its multicultural society.
